Kwale Women Focus Initiative (KWFI) promotes Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) by empowering women, youth, and persons with disabilities with accurate information, access to services, and advocacy platforms. Our programs focus on menstrual health education, prevention of teenage pregnancies, gender-based violence awareness, family planning sensitization, and community dialogue forums.
Through our interventions, many adolescent girls have returned to school after receiving dignity kits and mentorship support, while young mothers have gained confidence through counseling and economic empowerment linkages. Community members now openly discuss reproductive health, reducing stigma and harmful cultural practices.
The organization’s overall mission is to empower women, children and the Youth out of social marginalization, isolation and discrimination through formal and informal education with basic technical/vocational and life skills
