The Kwale Women Focus Initiative (KWFI) team is composed of passionate, skilled, and community-driven individuals dedicated to empowering women, youth, and persons living with disabilities across Kwale County. Our team includes experienced community mobilizers, counselors, program coordinators, advocacy officers, and volunteers who work tirelessly to promote inclusion, equality, and sustainable development.
With strong grassroots networks in all six sub-counties, our members understand local challenges and cultural dynamics, enabling us to design responsive and impactful programs. We prioritize teamwork, transparency, and accountability in every initiative we undertake.
Our leadership provides strategic direction and ensures compliance with community-based organization standards, while our field officers maintain close relationships with beneficiaries and local stakeholders. Together, we combine compassion with professionalism to deliver meaningful change, strengthen community resilience, and create opportunities that transform lives and build a more inclusive and empowered society.
The organization’s overall mission is to empower women, children and the Youth out of social marginalization, isolation and discrimination through formal and informal education with basic technical/vocational and life skills

Kwale Women Focus Initiative (KWFI) is a Community Based Organization whose sole aim is to empower the community at large particularly the women, youth and persons living with disability and this was due to the fact that they are the most vulnerable and marginalized in the society.
Established in 2018 and duly registered in 2019 as a CBO under the Department of Social Development, KWFI is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit making organization and operates in 6 Sub Counties of Kwale County.
