Kwale Women Focus Initiative (KWFI) conducts civic awareness programs on the Constitution and devolution to empower women and youth in Kwale County with knowledge of their rights, responsibilities, and opportunities in governance. Through community forums, workshops, and dialogue sessions, participants gain confidence to engage leaders, participate in public forums, and advocate for inclusive development.
Many women have successfully petitioned for improved water access and healthcare services, while youth groups have actively participated in county budgeting forums, influencing resource allocation in their wards.
The organization’s overall mission is to empower women, children and the Youth out of social marginalization, isolation and discrimination through formal and informal education with basic technical/vocational and life skills
